Where we operate
Benefits of working at AmeriCorps
A career with the U.S. Government provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package. As a federal employee, you and your family will have access to a range of benefits.
Health and wellness
Our competitive and comprehensive health benefits plans provide our employees and their families with coverage they can count on. Employees can also add FSAs that provide supplemental tax-advantaged health benefits to pay for health care or dependent care expenses. Life insurance and long-term care provide our colleagues with the support they need to protect their families.
Work-life and time away
Employees have access to paid annual and sick leave that is accrued throughout the year. We offer flexible work schedules, paid volunteer time, paid parental leave, and a leave donation program that empowers employees to help one another in times of need.
Thrift savings plan
Similar to a 401(k) plan, the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) offers employees generous matching contributions of 5% of employee contributions with no waiting period.
Employee Assistance Program
Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers free and confidential legal, financial, or other personal professional counseling or support services to employees.
